Jeff met with us many times throughout the process for planning, room adjustments, add-ons and finishing discussions. He was very clear and upfront about costs and timelines. He answered texts and emails in a timely manner and communicated clearly. Even with some minor supply chain delays, he finished our house at the expected time.

One very important thing regarding building a home is the quality of the subcontractors. Jeff’s crews were all fantastic. They all went above and beyond what was expected. They were personable, easy to work with and paid attention to details. They were very responsive and ensured the job was done well. Also, he provided a decorator, Melanie Wanchick, to work with us. She was a wonderful sounding board about ideas and colors, and made suggestions that hadn’t occurred to us. It was so helpful to have a professional to help with some of the selections.

Jeff coordinated scheduling the subcontractors very smoothly. They each had their time slot to do their work, and then the next group came to do theirs. They weren’t stumbling around each other or getting in each other’s way.

Who builds a new house in the middle of a pandemic? Jeff Rea does! We broke ground in May of 2020 and moved in by October, as planned, despite a few supply chain problems. We had never built a house before. Jeff was great to work with. He patiently answered our questions. He helped us to realize some of our dreams, like the stone arch on the front porch. He explained why some of our ideas were not realistic. Melanie was wonderful in helping me to coordinate selections on countertop, flooring, paint colors and so much more. Everyone who worked on our house was great!
